The Greek Institute of Geopathology was established in 2001 in Athens by the German practitioner, geopathologist and author Dorothea Gerardis-Emisch, who since 1975 lives mostly in Greece. Mrs. Gerardis-Emisch is intensely involved in Geopathology and research in Geopathology since 1993. After four years of personal studies she completed her education on Geopathology in Germany. Since there is a want of experts on Geopathology in Greece, Mrs. Gerardis-Emisch, besides her writing activity, works almost exclusively as a geopathologist and teacher of Geopathology. As president of the Greek Association of Geopathology, she gives free lectures in many towns of Greece in an effort to attract the attention of the public to Geopathology and to the health problems that are caused by surcharges of geopathic stress. She organizes seminars for the training and specialization of geopathologists in the Greek and German language at the Greek Institute of Geopathology, and also in summer resorts all over Greece.
